Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• referral details such as patient initials, age, general care level, timing, preferences, and budget or coverage notes;
• caregiver credentials, work preferences, verification documents, shift activity, and ratings;
• partner business, licensing, insurance, service-area, assignment, and rating information; and
• basic technical and usage information, such as IP address, device type, pages visited, and error or security logs.

Limited health information

A placement request may include limited health-related information needed to identify an appropriate level of care. Public referral forms ask for initials and general needs only. Do not submit full medical records, Social Security numbers, insurance cards, or other unnecessary sensitive information through a public form.

Care Las Vegas applies safeguards appropriate to the information it holds and follows applicable privacy law and contractual obligations. The public website is not an electronic health record, a patient portal, or a substitute for a secure clinical exchange. If a provider needs to send records, contact us first for an approved method.

How we use information

• respond to inquiries and provide requested placement, caregiver, or partner services;
• assess needs, identify suitable providers, coordinate tours or work, and follow up;
• verify caregivers and service partners and protect clients, families, and the platform;
• send service messages, maintain records, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and comply with law; and
• understand aggregate site use through privacy-friendly Vercel Analytics.

We do not sell personal information or use health information for targeted advertising.

When we share information

We share information only as reasonably needed: with a provider or caregiver involved in a requested service after the required disclosure, agreement, and acknowledgment; with vendors that help operate the service under appropriate restrictions; with professional advisers; or when required to protect rights, safety, or comply with law. We do not disclose full client details to prospective providers before the required consent.

Retention and security

Nevada placement-agency records that must be retained are kept for at least five years. Other information is kept only as long as needed for the purpose collected, legal obligations, disputes, and security. We use access controls, encryption provided by our hosting and database services, and role-based restrictions, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask to review, correct, or request deletion of information, subject to Nevada record-retention and other legal requirements. You may also opt out of nonessential communications. Service and safety messages may still be sent while an active request or account remains open.

Children, external services, and changes

This site is for adults and is not directed to children under 13. Links or services operated by independent providers have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy as the service or law changes and will post the effective date above.
